In this guide, we'll walk you through every step of the process — from picking the right product to placing your order with confidence.
Step 1 — Choose Your Product
Head to phoneantics.com/pages/customize and you'll see four products ready for customization:
Custom Glossy Metal Silicone Case
The fan favourite. A dual-layer silicone shell with a high-gloss metal finish that makes colours pop. Scratch-resistant, grippy, and slim enough to slide into any pocket. Your design is printed directly onto the back panel with vivid, fade-resistant ink.
Custom Silicon Case
Soft, flexible, and lightweight. Ideal if you prefer a rubberized feel in your hand. The matte surface gives your design a subtle, sophisticated finish — colours are rich without being overly shiny.
Custom Glass Case
For those who want their photo to look like a work of art. A tempered glass back panel with a precision-printed design underneath gives incredible depth and clarity. Perfect for landscapes, portraits, and anything with fine detail.
Keychain
Small but mighty. A compact, square acrylic keychain with your design printed edge-to-edge. Attach it to your keys, bag, or lanyard. Great for gifting too — personalized keychains make incredibly thoughtful presents.
Step 2 — Select Your Phone Model
Once you click on your chosen product, you'll be taken to its product page. Use the model selector to find your exact phone. We stock cuts for hundreds of models across all major brands — Samsung, Apple (iPhone), OnePlus, Realme, iQOO, Poco, Redmi, Oppo, Vivo and more. The case is precision-cut for your model's camera bump, buttons, and ports, so everything fits perfectly without blocking anything.
Step 3 — Upload Your Photo or Design
This is the fun part. Click the upload area (or simply click anywhere on the empty case preview frame — it will open your file picker automatically).
What makes a great image?
- Resolution matters. For the sharpest print, aim for an image that is at least 1000 × 1000 pixels. Higher is always better — phone photos taken in good lighting are usually perfect.
- File formats accepted: JPG, PNG, and WEBP all work great.
- Portraits and landscapes both work. Our designer automatically scales your image to cover the entire case, so it fills every corner.
- If your image looks blurry in the preview, a small warning will appear. Try zooming out slightly or swapping in a higher-resolution version of your photo.
Step 4 — Adjust Your Design in the Live Preview
Once your image uploads, you'll see it appear instantly inside a live preview of your case or keychain. This is where you fine-tune exactly how your design is positioned and sized.
Drag to Reposition
Click and drag (or use your finger on mobile) to slide the image around inside the frame. Centre a face, shift a landscape, or move a logo to exactly where you want it.
Pinch or Scroll to Zoom
On mobile, use a two-finger pinch gesture to zoom in or out. On desktop, scroll with your mouse wheel over the preview. You can also use the zoom slider in the toolbar below the preview for precise control. The zoom range goes from 100% (full cover) up to 400% (deep crop into a specific detail).
Rotate
Use the Rotate button to flip your image by 90° increments. Useful if your photo was taken in landscape and you want it to fill a portrait case, or vice versa.
Reset
Made a mess? Hit Reset to snap everything back to the original position and zoom level instantly.
Step 5 — Add Text (Optional)
Want to add a name, a quote, a date, or a short message? Our designer has a built-in Add Text tool right below the adjustment controls.
- Type your text into the input field (up to 40 characters).
- Pick a font from our selection: Arial, Georgia, Times New Roman, Courier New, Verdana, and Comic Sans.
- Choose a colour using the colour picker — any colour you like.
- Adjust the size using the text size slider, from small and subtle to large and bold.
- Once your text appears on the preview, drag it to position it exactly where you want it on the case or keychain.
Text is baked directly into your print file, so what you see in the preview is exactly what gets printed.
Step 6 — Review Your Design
Before you add to cart, take a moment to look over your design in the preview:
- Is the key subject of your photo centred the way you want it?
- Is any important detail — a face, a logo, a specific part of the image — getting cropped out?
- Does your text sit where you intended?
- Did the quality warning appear? If so, try zooming out a little or uploading a higher-res version.
The preview is a faithful representation of what will be printed. What you see is what you get.
Step 7 — Add to Cart & Checkout
Once you're happy, click Add to Cart. Our system will automatically generate your print-ready file in the background and upload it securely — the button will briefly show "Uploading your design…" while this happens (usually just a few seconds). Once it's done, you'll be taken through our standard checkout.
At checkout you can:
- Apply any discount codes you have
- Choose your delivery speed
- Pay securely via UPI, cards, net banking, or cash on delivery
Tips for the Best Result
Use good lighting when taking your photo.
Natural daylight is your best friend. Avoid harsh shadows across faces or subjects.
Avoid heavily compressed screenshots.
Screenshots from social media apps are often compressed to low resolution. Download the original file from your camera roll or Google Photos instead.
For keychains, keep it simple.
The keychain frame is square and compact. Bold images — a clear face, a simple pattern, a logo, an initial — tend to look much better than busy scenes with lots of small detail.
Centre your subject with a little breathing room.
Don't push your main subject right to the edge. Leave a small margin so nothing important gets trimmed in the final print.
Dark backgrounds print beautifully.
Our glossy and glass finishes handle deep blacks and rich darks extremely well. Space photos, night portraits, and dark artistic images often look stunning.

Screens and printed surfaces render colour differently. We optimise our print process to be as accurate as possible, but slight variations between screen and print are normal across the industry. Bright, well-lit photos with vivid colours tend to translate best.
